Friendly Fantail

It is not uncommon to have a fantail/piwakawaka, follow us on our walk because it will be looking for the insects our feet might disturb.   This one was happy to pose and I got several good shots. I chose this one because I haven't seen the spread wing before. The first extra shows the fan shaped tail. The next is extra is a goat that is in backyard. Hopefully it doesn't get through the fence and eat any newly planted trees. It's not common to keep a goat in a suburban backyard.
