At last!

I had almost given up hope of spotting a butterfly …. today I saw three.

I know of one buddleia bush in Pollok Park and every time I pass it I look very closely at all the flowers and today there was a beautiful Peacock butterfly enjoying the sunshine. It was a bit breezy so one hand held the stem still while the the took the photo.

The was also a Red Admiral but it wasn’t in a good spot ….. too much in the shadows.

Today I set myself a challenge …… a three park walk by lunchtime and I did it.  Started with a circuit of the Heritage Park loch (not as far as a mile), then round the pond in Rouken Glen (again not as far as a mile) and finally my circuit of Pollok Park where I enjoyed a coffee break.
