Waving Good-bye

Our guests left early this morning, after a much cooler night - look at what Mike's wearing! Though it's got up to near 40C even today, but feels so much more bearable. Seems a shame we had our hottest days while they were here.

Washing bedding and towels, clearing up, taking the recycling, paperwork and admin we'd neglected, emptying the paddling pool (which had gone green), chatting to the kids, reading, and now that it's cooled off, will go water the trees.

Gratefuls:
- the Hampsons making the effort to come visit us, so appreciated, (though felt like we never really caught up with each other, hopefully see each other sooner next time, and at a cooler time of year!)
- the extreme heat ending, will hopefully not return this year...
- Nate being happy with the gift of three clothes pegs
