Action packed

Well, sort of busy. LD and D out and about visiting interesting places (Skara Brae and the like, but not the Ring of Brodgar as a coachload had disembarked and the site was too busy to appreciate properly. The bussed masses strike again). Anyway, they had a fine day to see things and came back pretty tired late afternoon.

Meanwhile back at the ranch LH has been earth mining and moving again and the latest raised bed is now full. He also fought a reluctant strimmer and has managed to clear a pathway through the willow planting at last.

I was out with Berry at a training lesson and found a great new spot to take her safely. Lots of learning opportunities (water, long grass, birds at a distance - all very tempting for a nosy Springer) and she behaved pretty well considering! The blip was a detour on the way home.

Back to ironing and feeding the washing machine again (our visitors came with quite a bagful of dirty laundry!). And then more sorting of Dad's memorial service. I think we're getting there and it'll be lovely to see his old friends and celebrate his wonderful life properly.

More silly games tonight. We haven't played Chickenfoot for ages and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves ;-)
