Done for the Day

It was low tide at Morston Quay so all the seal trips were finished for the day and the boats safely moored.  The Blakeney hotel and Blakeney Church can be seen in the background.

B invited me to join her for an evening stroll at Morston Quay yesterday and as you can see it was a beautiful evening with soft mellow light.

The extra is of the sea lavender, it's just beginning to go over now. It's surrounded by sea purslane and samphire both of which are often served at local restaurants including Morston Hall...their chefs don't have to wander far to forage for these delicious accompaniments.
