Not getting ahead.

I was clearing up after the removal of an old gas fire, and noticed a glint amongst the soot and cement. To my surprise it was the long expired head and body of a rather handsome beetle. I reunited them briefly for the extra, but thought the headless main more interesting, albeit of questionable taste.
I think this may be a rose chafer, which was fairly rare, but now more common.
I didn't know about today's theme, but as most beetles are vegetarian... ;)
