Day 3 Devon and Dorset

This morning we started the day with a delicious breakfast at the hotel (Kentisbury Grange) and then headed to Clovelly. We got there before all the crowds and enjoyed a lovely walk down and up the steep hill. I thought walking up was actually easier than walking down!
Afterwards, we visited Hartland Abbey which was virtually deserted. We had a lovely lunch, walked to the beach and around the house and finally went over to the garden which was quite a distance from the house. It was a lovely place and the garden was stunning. It's definitely one of my favourite small gardens because it was packed full of colour and well looked after. We finished the day with a blustery walk in Westward Ho! The weather stayed dry and the sun even put in an appearance a few times.
