It is my turn on the rota to read for "Talking Newspaper" this evening. Three of us will read articles previously selected from the local paper by "editors". As we read it is recorded by grandly named "engineers" and then put onto memory sticks and sent to blind people in the area. It is part of a countrywide system I believe. So having read the paper over breakfast I shall hear the main articles again this evening!

I should be out in the garden today, but it is still bitterly cold and I'm a fair weather gardener. The forecast is for it to continue like this until the end of the month - so depressing.
