Magnolia Stellata …,

This Magnolia is sometimes known as the “Star Magnolia”. It is flowering in a friend’s garden. It is lovely and lifted my heart to see it very early this morning. New Zealand has community cases of COVID-19. So we have have been thrust into Level Four Lockdown, most of us for three days. But Auckland and Coromandel are locked down for seven days because the first cases of COVID-19 arose in those communities. The Delta strain of the virus is spreading quickly in Auckland. I think we will be in Lockdown for more than three days.
