It was very difficult staying together given the poor vis. Our "guide" was most interested in killing sea urchins so L. and I were on our own re buddying up for safety. I had wondered how people drowned so often in Monterey Bay (in a shallow water shore dive) until I became entangled in some kelp, then it became obvious...
