Historic Old Course, St Andrews

Had a really nice day out to St Andrews today. The weather was much better than expected. We had a picnic on the beach (after a good swim).  We finished our day with Fish and Chips in Anstruther.
Golf has been played on St Andrews Links since 1552 and the Old Course has been around since 1754. One of the extras is St Andrews Cathedral which was built in 1158 when it became the centre of the medieval Catholic Church in Scotland. Thanks to RockArea for hosting Wide Wednesday- History.
