Wide wednesday

Strange day today of two halves. Had to be at church this morning at 09.00 to rehearse for the 10.30 service for the civic service for the victims of the shooting in keyham. In the planning they were hopeful it would be a community event but it was mostly dignitaries inside and “real” people outside.

Then I was picked up to go to FABS and do some movement and dance to swing time which was lovely. Got the bus back to town and walked across the normally peaceful Hoe to be faced with the fair and loud noise and flashing lightsaber in the panorama.

This evening was the first night of the fireworks championship. Three tonight and three tomorrow. The third one tonight was the best they started with five hearts for each of the victims and I thought they were going to be green but they were red! Ready for bed now!
