Golden grasses

Wednesday
A bright start to the day. We walked down to Silverknowes promenade, and along towards Cramond and back. We haven't seen any sheep in the field for a long time now, so the grass has grown quite long, even on the verges beside the footpath. The prom was busy as usual with joggers, cyclists and dog walkers.
Dennis dropped me off at the wgh for my appointment at the lipid clinic. First face-to-face appointment in 18 months. Everything fine, blood taken for the genetic test.
The tomatoes are ripening quickly now, so made some tomato and basil soup for lunch. Also gave away some tomatoes to our neighbour.
Calum came over after work and stayed the night.
