Dahlia

Early morning swim, 20 gentle slow lengths.  

Saw this Dahlia on my walk out for the newspaper.  I thought it very cheery on such a dull, overcast day. It grows amongst other dahlias in a very small space, outside one of the yellow-bricked houses on Henconner Lane, which has put on a show at this time of year for as long as I can recall.

Ebor competition.  Yesterday was a very odd slow start to the 4 day comp. Day 1  Glyn & Vonney lead on 2, that's poor, however, Tim Easterby & David Allan are running well so I have had winners at good prices.
