How Close Can You Get

The Gravensteins are dropping, so I made a big fat apple pie! Then we made pizza to use some of the tomatoes. Oh boy, I may have said this before, but August is a terrific month for eating!!

During some downtime the cat sat on my lap, but facing away, so I had to reach the camera around and shoot blind while trying not to disturb the subject. It looks like she can sleep with her eyes open. I was sure I could do that when I was a kid. And I knew without a doubt that I could fly down the stairs.
