A strange place for a window*

Out to shop - Port Edgar of course. I picked up some bug treatment but the salopette shopping was less successful. Shame, as it would have been a decent advance birthday present as well as more than a bit useful. Not for me, I should add. Talking of bugs, I've found the wasps' nest. Large.
Later, a teatime pint! Things are returning to normal - the screens have gone, there’s no check in (well, that I could see) and people are milling about a lot more. There’s still an open door though, augmented by a hole in the doorway where a small window frame used to be - a recent stramash apparently. Coincidentally, Wendy had one with her which could almost have been a replacement.
Later, the third episode of White Lotus which is terrific. And what a great piece of music throughout. We also watched Mark Nelson hosting the BBC's Fringe coverage : "Edinburgh Unlocked.” That must be one of the most shockingly awful programmes that the hapless Beeb Scotland have ever broadcast. And that’s saying something. Kirsty Wark, run away!

*Chic Murray joke
