Coniston Water & Ambleside

We chose a rather damp & dreary day to travel around Coniston Water on the NT’s Steam Yacht Gondola :(
It was the lake on which Donald Campbell broke water speed records on ‘Bluebird’ in the 1950s!
The views were very underwhelming, but the gondola was still fun.

We went back to Ambleside for a game of pitch & putt which was one jointly by Mr W & Little Miss.
We had a wander around the town and also saw the NT’s Bridge House :)

The evening was spent playing cards which Mr W & Little Miss won again!
