Moorhen

Today has been the kind of day that the gardens love ….. very mild and with an almost constant drizzle that gave the earth the moisture it needed.

A fairly large supermarket shop, well large for me, and a couple of circuits of the pond in Rouken Glen and that filled in the morning without me getting too wet.

The moorhens love the lily pads and are quite happy walking across them or forcing a way through as they swim to the open water.
