Up early as rain was forecast and Arnold doesn’t enjoy rainy walks. We went through the cow field but he wanted to eat the cow pats! Delightful as he is, there will be no kissing me today. So we headed up to the other fields, and the coffee cart was there. Arnold was very calm with all the other dogs and owners gathered around. We were out for a couple of hours, so he was ready for a snooze when we got back.
His mum collected him at lunchtime so I got the sheets in the wash and went to the supermarket.
It stayed dry again, so washing dried outside, and I made a banana cake . Whilst it was baking I did some gardening. I cut down a rosemary bush that died when we had a water leak, I think its roots sat in the wet.
