A Sparrow convention!

In between the heavy downpours the local flock of Sparrows descended on the garden for a Sparrow convention, including a host of newly fledged youngsters. You can’t tell from this pic, but there were well over 60 birds sitting and preening in the pyracantha, you can see a few more in extras. With so many Sparrows around, sadly no wonder that we’re having regular visits from a Sparrowhawk.
