Compost corner

Long day today. Built my very first compost bin. I used four 1 metre square decking panels and four corner posts.

Then tried out the new garden shredder. Surprised how well it works, turning small branches of up to 4cm into fine particles, resembling sawdust.

Then mowed the lawn, mixed the grass cuttings with the shredded branches and inaugurated the compost bin.

Also had a chance to try out the new battery operated chainsaw. I've bought into one of the brands of battery tools that work with the same interchangeable batteries. This means you can buy a tool without neccessarily buying batteries for it, reducing the price significantly. So far I have lawnmower, strimmer and chainsaw from the 'Einhell' brand, all sharing the same batteries.
