Peninsula Light

Kessock Bridge this evening.

On the way back from the swimming pool, I noticed the patchy fog and thought, "Hmmm, tripod in the boot. Methinks some long exposures are in order."

First time I've used this lens like this. Despite having the hood fitted (I always do), I failed to notice the little flare spot in the dull (gorse) part of the scene. It appeared in near enough all the shots I took here, and elsewhere. The star effect, is caused by the aperture blades, and small setting used.

Note to take more care next time. But if your eyes are watering in the cold, that's easier said than done!
