Weight loss journey progress report 22082021

Not such a bad week with a loss of 0.3 lb despite a couple of wet days that limited exercise. But over week managed an average of10,984 steps a day which exceeds last months daily average of 8,830.
Starting weight (25 May 2018= 273lb)
Today’s weight 189.8 lb
Last Sunday’s weight 191.6 lb
Average weigh last week = 191.4 lb
Average weight this week = 191.1 lb
Weight loss over the week is 0.3 lb
Note: I weigh every day first thing and calculate weight loss based on average weight for the week

A year and twenty one weeks of lockdown and 48 weeks home from hospital since discharge after stroke and I have to report a small loss of 0.3 lb over the week. I managed a calorie deficit of 500 most daysavoiding the white carbohydrates and treats and spicing up meals with some very hot Scots bonnet chillis.
FitBit challenges spurn me on and motivate me to achieve daily step and mileage goals even when it’s wet outside. On sunny days walks were even more interesting than usual because of so many butterflies on Buddleia bushes that were growing wild. Thanks to all that participated with me on these FitBit challenges(goal day, daily challenge, workweek challenge and bingo). If the weather is drier in the coming week and I can get work done in the allotment and can resist treats and white carbs I should be able to record another small loss or standstill at worst in the coming week and that is my goal.
I hope you all have had a good week and that you are all keeping safe and fit in these uncertain times. I hope the easing of the lockdown restrictions, the problems caused by the new peak in COVID cases and the threat posed by new COVID variants, especially when mitigation measures are being relaxed, is not having too much of a detrimental effect on your scales. Keep positive and safe.
As an aside it’s a year and a weektoday I had my stroke and in that year there has been little change in my weight. Today I’m actually 2.5 pounds lighter than I was a year ago.
