Seed head

I was going to take a pic of a very small hoverfly on my cross-stitch pattern but it went while I was getting the camera. Just nearby was this leaf and seedhead.
Small congregation at church today as some are away but had visitors to take the service and had an excellent time.
Got the holiday washing done (the rain stopped) and a bit of sewing and a short run.
It was warm and muggy most of the day, not particularly pleasant
