234/365 Torches Burning !

234/365   Torches Burning ! For the last 30 years plus the highlight of Bridport Carnival has been the Sunday torchlight procession, thousands walk with torches from Bridport to West Bay, with Covid the last 2 carnivals have been cancelled but with the Procession under threat from the local Highways Authority who have said they will not renew the licence allowing road closures. Tonight the Carnival Committee and Carnival Princes walked the route in protest against the decision.  #bridportcarnival #bridporttorchlightprocession
