Arabian Horseshoe!

This very unusual horseshoe was picked up in Petra in Jordan, when we were visiting a few years ago.
We have a collection of ‘found’ horse-shoes, but this is the most unusual specimen. We are not sure why it is solid - but the ground was very hard, and maybe this solid shoe gave more protection for the horse’s hoof.
