The Testimony Of Your Bones.....

The sense of anticipation is building at FBC  Pflugerville!  We are looking forward to next Sunday when the candidate selected by our pastor search committee under God's guidance comes to meet the congregation and fill the pulpit as he preaches to us in view of a call to become our next senior pastor.   But, today we were blessed one more time by the choir and orchestra that I can't show you because I am singing in the choir and by congregational worship led by Daniel, Ben and the band which I was able to get some shots of at sound check.  Deani wasn't there at the time I got the pictures, but she was there for the serviceThe praise and worship was followed by a message from Ketrich Steger who is currently serving as chaplain for a very special ministry that works with teenage girls who are caught up in sex trafficking to help them rebuild their lives to become what God created them to be.  He spoke about Elisha, a man that God used to do many miraculous things, because he did not try to do things in a way that made sense to him. he followed God's leading despite how his actions might look to those around him , so that God was able to work through him in his life and even after his death.......You can read all about it in First Kings 19. Is God calling you to step out and do the unusual to make a difference in someone's life?  Think about it and pray about it this week as we look forward to next Sunday-----not knowing what lies ahead, but trusting that God is already there and in control.......
