There was heavy rain during the night but by morning it was dry and while having breakfast I spotted the sun rising over Wansfell. J and E (and Lily Bear) set off to meet friend C. They had a great time in Rydal Cave and a swim in Rydal Water before returning for lunch. 

It was late afternoon before I thought about a blip and by then it was raining again. I popped into the garden for a wet leaves shot.
