The remains

In the top right photo you can see the remains of the mammoth gum tree that recently had to come down. In the bottom right you can see the remains of what was a nicely grassed easement behind our property. The water table is quite full so when the guys came in with their loader it became bogged. Then they had to bring an excavator to 'unbog' the loader. The result - one very muddy, churned up easement. It has rained all day today so now the easement is struggling to do its job.

The photo on the left is of the section beyond the footbridge. It's what the whole easement used to look like.
