Mountain Ash / Eberesche

Fall is in the air, clear blue skies and cold nights. It is getting a little calmer in the yard. The yellow plum harvest is over, the red plums, Asian pears and apples will have to be harvested. Yesterday I cleaned and rearranged the garage where many of these fruits will be stored and rearranged also our pantry to make room for and sense of all the jars that I have created.
The grey stray cat is less and less shy. Was sitting this morning cozily in the sun to clean himself.

The mountain ash berries will be gone one of these days when the big flocks of Cedar waxwings come.

The numbers of newly infected people go up by the day. In our little town we have about5-8 new cases every day…
This fourth Covid wave is threatening to change traveling plans. In this case up to Washington to visit Dons son.
