Inverewe Gardens

Another beautiful sunny day, lovely and warm again too.  Hardly any wind, which meant midgies!

Up early, and a morning about the caravan.  After a morning walk, we headed to the Poolewe Hall, for the market.  Later, we headed up the the Inverewe Gardens.  Lunch back at the caravan, and a lazy while in the sunshine.  Late afternoon, headed to Corrieshalloch Gorge, but the bridge over was closed.  Haggis, neeps and tatties outside tonight, and then a quiet pint later.

We had a great time walking about the gardens today, and I was amazed to see what they had growing.  Anything I can grow back home, was ten times bigger, and some of the trees are enormous! Quiet a lot of New Zealand and Australian plants, including eucalyptus trees.  What I liked most, was the palms.  Being a sunny warm day, the palms certainly gave me that proper holiday feel.  Taken inside the Inverewe Gardens, Poolewe.
