Fright

Out for an evening walk, getting close to the point of having to go before tea as was too dark for natural light pics by the time half way round.

Nearly stood on this toad / frog on the path as I was heading along the path near the curling pond. Maybe out along the path looking for slugs to munch.

Anyway, happily it didn't have a big walking boot touch it. I hate sometimes out walking & feeling the crunch of a snail I wasn't aware of but if this wee fella hadn't moved I wouldn't known it was there.

Enjoyed wanting the bats out flying above the grasses & wildflowers / seedheads as walking the edge of the field.
