Fungi

It was a nice warm day so we went for a swim in the River Findhorn today. It was colder than the last time we were in but still enjoyable and we were able to try out the life jacket we got for our son. He enjoyed the swim but didn't like floating on his back in the lifejacket. The woods were full of fungi. We saw lots of what we think were ceps, but they were all quite old. We also found this one close to our swimming spot. I'm not sure of the species but our plant ID app said it was Physalacriaceae. I think this is the group that this mushroom belongs to rather than its individual name. In the evening my wife's Auntie and Uncle came round for a meal. Her uncle is fellow blipper Tryfan46. They are up visiting from Kent for a few days. We made butterbean cassoulet and had a great time catching up after so long.
