Locked Up

Today's itinerary began with a visit to Peterhead Prison, except no dogs, Mrs C went first and Ms H and Arlo came with me to another beach. When Mrs C was finished we swiched and went to the jail while Mrs C returned to the same beach with Arlo again - he don't care!

The prison was only closed in 2013 and was known as the hardest prison in the UK. There was a riot in 1987 and they took a guard hostage, control was restored when they sent in the SAS! I was actually surprised the jail was not that big.

Then we were off to Fraserburgh for some ice-cream, dinner and a look at the oldest official lighthouse on the Scottish mainland converted from a castle. The foghorn (leghorn) looked exactly like the foghorn (leghorn) in the movie "The Lighthouse" that we just watched a few weeks ago - viewer discretion advised!
