Mystery Socks

I've started this pair recently and now finished, I was looking forward to having another pair to wear.
But no such luck! I keep a record of every sock I make to avoid having to swatch and measure every time. But this mystery pair is MUCH larger than the previous ones made with the same yarn and same needles, etc. ...
One lucky man in my house happens to have the right size feet for them though, so he happily adopted them.

Still baffled by the mystery though ...
