It's a baldy bald life!

Speckled Wood Butterfly

We were at Mummy Byde's (Rosemary's mum) and it was 'day out' day, something to please everyone.

First, we went to Breezy Knees Garden near Warthill in Yorkshire. I was happy because there were lots of butterlies including peakcocks, red admirals and this cool speckled wood one. We even saw a few dragonflies making baby dragonflies.

Then it was off to Malton for lunch. Apart from all the cars, it seemed like a nice place to live due to the fact that it calls itself the food capital of Yorkshire. Then it was off to Flamborough on the coast. Mummy Byde has friends there and there was a pebbled beach for me and Rosemary to swim at. Whilst the first half was fun, the current was hard work on the way back. I was pleased to reach the beach.

We then had a massive drive back to Garforth but we made it.
