The Kelpies

I couldn’t quite squeeze the four Kelpies into the photo. Outside the Helix visitors’ centre there are two smaller Kelpie sculptures while the two original 30m high sculptures are slightly further away towering over the Forth and Clyde Canal.

Thanks to IvarBlipS L and I set off to visit the Kelpies and the Falkirk Wheel hoping to spot a few of the willow sculptures that form part of the ‘Canal Encounters’ project.

It was incredibly hot so walking for miles was not really on the cards for today. The beautiful unicorn was down near the free car park
