Japanese Anemone

I met a friend for lunch today to give her a wee gift and celebrate her birthday which is on Friday. The weather is cloudy and sunny and very warm in the sun and cool in the shade. I was overdressed for sunshine and just right for the shade!!
These flowers were by the driveway of a house on the walk home from the cafe.
