Successfully charged my bus pass with a Metro Gold Card - double the price of a local, but still well worth it, and I managed to navigate the instructions at the machine in Tynemouth station after an initial false start...

Met the Wallsend Girls in Gosforth for cocktails and an early meal this evening - so had the opportunity to test drive the card on the Metro - all good! Lovely to see them again for the first time since the start of the first lockdown... and lots to catch up on...
