Moorhen

Normally, although we have both Moorhens and Coots on our pond, it is almost impossible to get a reasonably good close-up picture of them. However, this morning, which was cold and damp, this Moorhen decided to visit our bird feeders, where the seed had been spilt and was caught about 25 metres from the pond in this picture.
