When we were young, my brothers and I would vie to see who could find their wellies, pull them on and get out in to the garden after a snowfall to be the first to make the tracks across the fresh snow. I had that memory in mind this morning as I set off up the street to Badger Wood in the hope that I would be the first to trek through the new snow. A dogwalker had been before me! I kept going up through the wood and eventually the dogwalker 'turned tail' and the path ahead up to the Moor was untouched....wonderful!
I think it looks better in large.
