A day at home.

After the week of snow in Iceland and minus 6 degree temperatures (which felt ok because no wind) today is a day with no snow but bitterly cold wind. A day for the house, I think. There is a steady 35-40 mph easterly wind - coming straight from Scandinavia - and gusting 60 mph+

I went to put my week's washing out, but I didn't think it could stay on the washing line! I have tried to capture the wind in today's photograph, but you need to imaging these tress at the back of our house, swaying back and forwards, and hear the wind howling through the branches. A cup of tea and a good book, I think...
