Prettiness

These Statice flowers are looking lovely as they bloom in different parts of my garden. 
They are so delicate, and they last well in a vase.
We successfully renewed our car licenses today - got there early number three in the queue -  by the time we were finished there was a long queue outside. I don't do queues so I was greatly relieved!!

We watched the most moving film on Netflix last night about the Paralympic games - Rising Phoenix, well worth watching.
My goddaughter, Katherine, is having a fabulous time in Tokyo. She has been regraded for the games, so not really in medal contention, just hoping to make the finals. Whatever the result, it's an amazing experience.
Early start for Addo National Park tomorrow, weather permitting.
