Day 10 Level 4 Lockdown

It’s getting harder to find interesting things to blip, seeing as we’re confined to our local neighbourhood when taking our daily walks.  So, it’s foliage and flowers again.  If you look closely at the image on the bottom left, you might just be able to see a bee hovering, waiting to alight on the plant.

Today there were 70 new community cases, compared with 68 yesterday and 62 on Wednesday.  So, the numbers aren’t increasing exponentially as they are in Sydney, but they are increasing.  At today’s 3pm briefing, the PM said that the entire country will stay in Level 4 until 11:59pm on Tuesday, and indicated that it is likely Auckland and Northland will remain in Level 4 for two weeks after that, but the rest of the country will move down to Level 3. C’est la vie!
