Scrap Creative

Alice B. had to deliver books to Farsley, while we were there we visited Scrap Creative where there were lots of interesting things to look at. I thought this mannequin was nicely positioned for a blip.

Our car journey there took us along the Ring Road which was busy, pre-pandemic level traffic. Farsley is a old stone built suburb, it’s has a short high street and retains a couple of re-purposed Mill buildings. Afterwards We drove along to Stanningley Road as we decided to return via one of my old work routes. Unfortunately Stanningley Road was chaos with roadworks, buses and cars. We returned via Bramley & Kirkstall, but at Kirkstall Lights there was a dog leg diversion so another hold-up. We climbed the hill up Kirkstall lane, the stadium lights were on at Headingley, the crowd were in their seats so the road was clear as we cruised by toward home. LS6 & ls7 seemed tranquil compared to the road chaos & traffic we had come through. It was good to revisit another part of Leeds, but the journey was a pain. I am So pleased that I don’t have to commute or drive for a living anymore.
