Helenium

I rather like its common name Sneezeweed ….. the name comes from the former use of their dried leaves in making snuff.

I have a rather small clump of these flowers in my garden. I’m hoping they will grow but not to the height of these flowers which are growing in Greenbank Gardens. If my plant does grow significantly I will have to move it to a new spot in the garden.

I bought some tulip bulbs today ….. one lot for a container the rest for a couple of areas in the garden. Far too hot for gardening today so the bulbs will have to wait.
