Sparrows and Robins

Busy day but managed to snap a few Sparrow and Robin shots. There was a skinny Robin around but didn't manage to get a photo of it, he/she looked very smart, no dishevelment at all.
Sparrows, we have dozens of them, it's just a matter of being lucky that they stop flitting about. The bird feeders help with that of course.
We had four grandchildren again this morning, makes for a busy and pretty hectic time but I take Buddy and Hendrix at 11.00 to pick up Joanne from work so we only had Ruby and Eric for a couple of hours afterwards. Eric slept for most of that.
Tomorrow it's an early start. 06:30 to meet up with some riders before heading off towards London for a protest ride through Westminster and the Houses of Parliament.
There's a proposal to stop the prosecution of veterans that took part in the Northern Ireland conflict but nothing has been progressed so far. Plus there are objections to the proposal from Northern Ireland. It seems they think it is fair to allow IRA murderers to be pardoned and not pursued but it is ok for veteran soldiers to be dragged through the courts.
I just can't understand why Tony Blair, John Major and others allowed the 'Good Friday Agreement',or 'Belfast Agreement' as it is known to some, to be passed in the form that it is, other than to make a name for themselves for stopping the Northern Ireland violence, which they haven't of course. It might be so prevalent but it's still there.
