“Among the fields of gold”

This morning, I was hoping to see a crane ( the bird) but no joy.
But there, popping her head above the barley, was this beautiful deer.
I couldn’t believe my luck. One photo and she was away across the field.
I’ve said it before but how could anyone ever want to shoot a beautiful creature like this!
