Old tracks

These old tracks and remains of a platform are remnants of the railway that was constructed many years ago to ferry materials to build the sea defences near Soulac. This part of the coast is under constant threat from the sea.
Although all the buildings are derelict, the tracks have not been completely abandoned. For a few weeks during the summer, a small tourist rain rattles along the line at a painfully slow speed between Pointe de Grave and Soulac-sur-Mer (about 7km).
