And they're off!

Nearly 500 people are taking part in the three day mountain marathon...

Four different courses...start times spread over an hour, meant there was hardly any bunching...

13 miles a day may not seem too hard, but don't forget it could take up to an hour to do a steep uphill mile.

Jim had already set off on one of the longer, harder courses...so in the photo are Ash ( one of Tam's old school friends ), Tam ( our daughter ), and Ros.

The weather was perfect!
